Protection against limescale | Extended lifespan of appliances | Reduced energy consumption | Eco-friendliness | Easy installation and maintenance |
ARAGO industry is an ionic system for treating source water that prevents the formation of calcium deposits and corrosion. It is designed for use in apartment buildings, hospitals, schools, shopping centers, administrative buildings, restaurants, and hotels. It also finds application in agriculture, for example in irrigation systems, heat exchangers, and storage tanks. Thanks to its operation, it significantly extends the lifespan of installed equipment (e.g. boilers, heating coils, pipes).
The ionic water treatment unit ARAGO represents a modern, eco-friendly, and maintenance-free solution for water treatment, which does not require the use of electrical energy or chemicals. This contributes to reducing operational and maintenance costs.
Zinc ions released by the ARAGO device cause a permanent change in the structure of the carbonate minerals contained in the water, preventing their deposition. The treated minerals are subsequently gradually washed away from the water supply system. This method of treatment preserves not only all important minerals in the water but also its original taste and smell.
The product is made from the highest quality materials that are hygienically safe and designed for contact with drinking water. It complies with the requirements of Decree 409/2005 Coll. on hygiene requirements for products that come into contact with drinking water.
How the ARAGO system works?
Water hardness is primarily caused by the presence of dissolved calcium bicarbonate (CaHCO₃). When water is heated, this bicarbonate is transformed into insoluble calcium carbonate (CaCO₃). The subsequent precipitation of carbonate and its deposition on the surface of heat exchangers, heating bodies, or pipes leads to the formation of "hard limescale". This limescale is a form of calcium carbonate known as calcite.
The ARAGO device utilizes a natural electrochemical process that releases zinc ions into the water. These ions prevent calcium carbonate from crystallizing as hard calcite, but rather in the form of aragonite, which is non-adhesive and easily washed away. Although calcite and aragonite are chemically identical (both are forms of calcium carbonate), they differ in their structure and physical properties.
If a small amount of aragonite does settle, for example, in low-flow devices like electric kettles, it can be easily removed by wiping. The change in structure between calcite and aragonite is permanent.

Installation The device is designed to be installed at the water entry point of the building (in the water distribution system), either in a horizontal or vertical position. It is essential to maintain the working pressure, flow rate, and temperature which must not exceed the technical parameters of the product. It is advisable to install a mechanical filter before the ARAGO industry water treatment unit, which will capture solid particles, sand, and sludge commonly present in the water supply system. Without this filter, there is a risk of reduced efficiency and lifespan of the device, potential blockages, or even damage. For easy maintenance, it is recommended to place shut-off valves and a bypass before and after the device. Use certified materials suitable for contact with drinking water for sealing. |
