Detailed information

Product detailed description

The filtration cartridge Brita Maxtra Pro represents the most advanced water filtration technology from a leading German manufacturer. Compared to the previous Maxtra+ generation, it is equipped with a highly effective filtration mesh, which is 4× more effective at capturing mechanical particles.

Effectively reduces limescale, chlorine, and other undesirable substances affecting taste, traces of heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and other impurities. Thanks to the filter, the resulting water is cleaner, tastier, and softer.

Removes limescale 50% more effectively than the Maxtra Pro Pure Performance filter.

One cartridge filters up to 150 liters of water and can be used for four weeks.

Available in packaging of 1 piece, 2 pieces, or 4 pieces.

Brita Maxtra Pro Hard Water Expert is a filter ideal for use with hard water. The filtration mixture consists of an ion exchange resin in the form of synthetic resin and microparticles of activated carbon, which are made from coconut shell. The cartridge body is made of 50% bioplastic, which can be recycled through the Brita recycling program. This plastic is BPA-free and therefore suitable for contact with drinking water.

Four stages of filtration

  1. Fine mesh captures coarse mechanical particles that may come from older water pipes, for example.

  2. Activated carbon - when water comes into contact with natural microcarbon, there is a significant reduction of substances negatively affecting the taste and smell of the water - especially chlorine, pesticides, and herbicides. These substances are captured on the porous surface of activated carbon microparticles (Micro Carbon Pearls). In this way, the water regains its purity, freshness, and delicious taste.

  3. Resin (ion exchange) reduces the carbonate hardness of the water (limescale) and thus protects your appliances and absorbs heavy metals (lead, copper).

  4. Extra fine filtration mesh captures even microparticles (≥ 30 µm).
