Replacement filter cartridge for the filtration pitcher AQUAPHOR Provance and AQUAPHOR Prestige. Its capacity is 350 liters of filtered water. Recommended replacement after about 3 months or after filtering 350 liters of water. Reduces limescale formation.

By utilizing unique fiber sorption materials from the Akvalen brand in combination with the best brands of activated carbon, the A5H replacement filter cartridge reliably and irreversibly retains not only organic compounds and heavy metals but also other harmful impurities.  This is achieved through the use of modified Akvalen fiber, which contains silver fixed in the sorbent mesh, where, in addition to filtering the water, softening occurs - reducing water hardness. This water is then ideally suited for use in coffee machines, kettles, and anywhere there is a risk of limescale buildup.
The result is that you always have access to clean, antibacterial softened water without residues of active chlorine and organic impurities, with a pleasant taste and no odor.

The AQUAPHOR A5H filter cartridge removes all essential undesirable substances from water:

• mechanical impurities - sand, clay, rust, etc.
• undesired tastes, odors, and sludge
• heavy metals (lead, mercury), phenol, and petroleum products (benzene)
• active chlorine
• chlorinated organic compounds (chloroform)
• pesticides

You can also use other types of replacement filter cartridges in filtration pitchers to achieve optimal effects:

• For normal tap water -  AQUAPHOR A5 filter cartridge
• For enriching water with magnesium -  AQUAPHOR A5 Mg filter cartridge - This filter cartridge has the same properties as A5, but additionally contains magnesium Mg2+ and enriches the water with this health-beneficial substance, up to 30% of the recommended daily allowance. Magnesium is involved in energy production in the body and maintaining a proper heart rhythm. Thus, magnesium is important for our muscles as well as for transmitting nerve impulses.
