Practical AQUAPHOR Lyon Filtration Jug with a total capacity of 3.8 l represents a way to quickly obtain quality filtered water in the comfort of your home. It is easy to fill thanks to the flip-top lid and is equipped with a mechanical filter replacement indicator that counts liters and alerts you in time to replace the filter cartridge.
The jug is made of highly durable material known as tritan. This is a special type of plastic free of harmful BPA. Tritan is safe for health, features long durability, high strength, and transparency, shine, and resistance to chemicals and high temperatures. It resembles glass, but unlike glass, it is not as fragile, and thus it does not break easily.
Filtered water is obtained by filling the jug with tap water, which is then filtered through the filter cartridge. Thanks to the filter cartridge AQUAPHOR A5 the resulting water will be free from mechanical impurities, chlorine, organic compounds, phenols, traces of heavy metals, and other substances that affect water quality, taste, and smell. Therefore, the water is subsequently cleaner, softer, and tastier.
The filter cartridge is composed of granulated activated carbon made from coconut shells, ion-exchange resins, and Aqualen microfiber sorbent.
AQUAPHOR A5 filter cartridges have a remarkably long lifespan. The lifespan of one filter cartridge is 350 liters. By using the filtration jug you help protect the environment and save money by reducing the need to purchase bottled water in plastic bottles.

The AQUAPHOR Lyon filtration jug is compatible with the following filter cartridges:
- For normal tap water - Filtration Cartridge AQUAPHOR A5
- For hard water - Filtration Cartridge AQUAPHOR A5H (softening)
This filter cartridge has the same properties as A5, but in addition to filtering the water, it also softens it - reducing water hardness. This water is then ideal for use in coffee machines, kettles, and anywhere there is a risk of limescale buildup. - For magnesium-enriched water - Filtration Cartridge AQUAPHOR A5 Mg - This filter cartridge has the same properties as A5, but additionally contains magnesium Mg2+ and enriches the water with this beneficial substance, up to 30% of the recommended daily intake. Magnesium is involved in energy production in the body and the proper heart rhythm. Thus, magnesium is important for our muscles and the transmission of nerve impulses.
Replacing the filter is very simple and quick - you pull out the existing filter cartridge from the housing and insert a new one. Thanks to the sealing conical rim, the filter cartridge is sealed so that water flows only through the filter cartridge.
