Medium-sized mechanical filters CINTROPUR NW 280 are designed for larger flows of filtered water. They are particularly suitable where a higher water flow is required or where the water is heavily contaminated. The filter is equipped with a drain valve for easy maintenance.

Mechanical pipeline water filters CINTROPUR NW 280 remove mechanical impurities such as sand, clay, hair, and other insoluble particles up to 1 micron depending on the used filter cartridge. Mechanical filters serve as pre-filters and are installed as the first stage of the filtration system.

Benefits of using Cintropur filters

Cintropur is one of the most cost-effective operations on the market. Instead of a traditional filter cartridge, a so-called "sock" is used, which is placed over the filter cylinder. The filter has a low pressure drop. The filter's construction includes a so-called centrifuge that creates a boiling effect in the filter bowl, significantly increasing filtration efficiency.

You should know

We recommend installing Cintropur filters at a sufficient height to allow for convenient maintenance and replacement of the filter cartridge. The space under the installed filter should be at least the same height as the height of the filter itself.
