Product detailed description
UV lamps are designed to remove bacteria, cysts, and viruses from water using UV radiation. This disinfection method is suitable for family homes, cottages, laboratories, restaurants, hospitals, and also in industry.
How UV lamps generally work
Water enters the stainless steel tube and flows around a powerful fluorescent lamp located inside a waterproof pipe. Ultraviolet radiation kills bacteria and viruses and damages their DNA molecular structure, thus preventing reproduction. At the same time, it does not introduce any changes to the chemical content of the water and does not create byproducts. Ultraviolet radiation is completely harmless, ecological, easy, cheap, and is the most modern method of disinfection.
Mioled uses an LED lamp for the disposal of bacteria, which automatically activates with an integrated flow switch upon the flow of water, ensuring disinfected water with minimal energy consumption.
Thanks to this technology and small dimensions, it is ideal for RO filtration, water dispensers, or for home use.
For standard UV lamps, it is necessary to replace the UV fluorescent lamp because it shines continuously. This is not required for the Mioled UV lamp; the LED lamp used has a lifespan of 5000 hours and lights up only when water flows.
Connecting the Mioled UV lamp is very easy and quick.
For optimal function, we recommend installing it on a separate water tap - maximum water flow for proper functionality is 2.5 liters per minute.
The package includes all necessary parts for connection (3/8" reduction with external and internal thread, hose, dowels, and screws).

- Mechanical prefiltration is required
You should know
Please note that for the proper functionality of the UV lamp, mechanical prefiltration of water is necessary. We generally use mechanical filters from our offer. We recommend the filter 3M or AQL 83.
For connecting the UV lamp, we recommend using surge protection UV Protect S PO20 into the outlet before the transformer. This will protect the UV lamp and transformer from surges caused by current spikes or storms.
For the proper functionality of the device, we recommend installation by our authorized service throughout the Czech Republic. The installation price varies based on the complexity of the installation and the materials used.
