Mixbed ion exchange resin type Resinex MX-2 is a regenerable resin with mixed bed (mixbed). It is used for the production of fully demineralized water in devices Aquashop-global.com. The mixture consists of a volume ratio of 1 : 1.5 (Resinex™ K-8 and Resinex™ A-4).

Resinex MX-2 stands out with a high operational capacity and long lifespan, which can reach up to 10 years (depending on the quality of the feed water). It represents an economic solution and ensures high water purity without silica.

It is recommended to use it as the final step in the water treatment process (after the reverse osmosis unit) to achieve ultra-pure deionized water with conductivity below 1 µS/cm.

Due to the more complex regeneration process of the mixbed ion exchange resin, we recommend performing regeneration only in professional facilities. For smaller units, it is more suitable to replace the filling after reaching capacity. The filling has a lifespan of up to 10 years (depending on the quality of the feed water) and it is essential to use acid and caustic for regeneration (again, we recommend performing this in professional facilities).
