The quartz tube is changed only in case of damage or due to the accumulation of dirt, calcium, iron, etc., which prevent the passage of UV radiation and thus reduce the efficiency of the device. 

Additional charge of 249 CZK per package includes a reinforced package (cardboard tube in which the UV bulb is wrapped in bubble wrap and the whole tube is also packed in a cardboard box reinforced with bubble wrap) to eliminate damage to the glass tube of the UV bulb during transportation.

To connect the UV lamp, we recommend using UV Protect S PO20 surge protection in the socket before the transformer. This will protect the UV lamp and transformer from surges caused by, for example, current surges or storms.
