Two-stage filtration unit Quell with a flow rate of 2.5 l/min provides you with clean filtered water without odor and undesirable substances. The filtered water is characterized by a fresh taste free of chlorine. The pitcher is available in blue and white. The filtration unit contains two stages of filtration; the first is a carbon filter, and the second stage features a Disruptor™ technology cartridge.
Disruptor™ Technology
Disruptor™ is a unique filtration technology that, like carbon filters, reduces chlorine, eliminates odors from water, and improves its taste. Furthermore, it removes pathogens and other contaminants including bacteria, viruses, cysts, parasites, endotoxins, pharmaceutical residues, and heavy metals (lead, iron, copper) from the water.
However, it retains minerals in the water, so it is not necessary to mineralize the filtered water as is the case with reverse osmosis. It does not remove nitrates or soluble salts and is not suitable for seawater filtration.
The product is certified and intended for contact with drinking water.
How does the filter work?
- The under-sink filtration unit connects to the water supply, and all necessary installation materials are included in the package. Filtration occurs in a flow-through manner.
- Replacing the filter is very simple and can be done by anyone following the included user manual.
