Replacement UV bulb for the Sterilight S5Q UV lamp.

This replacement UV bulb lasts 9000 hours in operation (approximately one year), unlike the standard one. Other parameters, such as radiation intensity and dimensions, match the original bulb: UVC-S212T5. The indicator light and audible alarm will, of course, signal the need to replace the UV bulb, but it is always advisable to change it in advance. It is recommended to check the condition of the quartz tube with every bulb change.

Quartz tube should only be replaced if it is damaged or due to the deposition of dirt, calcium, iron, etc., which prevent the passage of UV radiation and thus reduce the efficiency of the device.

Pay attention to the lifespan of the UV bulb. The lifespan of the UV bulb is 9000 hours (more than 1 year). The built-in timer with audible alert will remind you of the need to replace the bulb, which tracks the number of days of operation.  

Please remember to restart your UV source after replacing the UV bulb (see manual).

Never handle the UV bulb with bare hands, always use, for example, a dry paper towel. Handling with bare hands significantly reduces the lifespan of the bulb.

For connecting the UV lamp, we recommend using surge protection UV Protect S PO20 in the socket before the transformer. This will protect both the UV bulb and the transformer from surges caused by load surges or storms.

Additional fee of 249 CZK per package includes a reinforced packaging (a cardboard tube in which the UV bulb is wrapped in bubble wrap and the entire tube is additionally packed in a cardboard box reinforced with bubble wrap) to eliminate the risk of damage to the glass tube of the UV bulb during transport.
