Replacement UV lamp for Sterilight S8Q UV lamp.

This replacement UV lamp lasts 9000 hours in operation (approximately one year), unlike the standard one. Other parameters, such as radiation intensity and dimensions, are the same as the original lamp: UVC-S212T5. The indicator light and audio signal will, of course, alert you to the need for replacing the UV lamp, but it is always preferable to change it in advance. It is recommended to check the condition of the quartz tube each time the lamp is replaced.

The quartz tube should be replaced only in case of damage or due to the accumulation of dirt, calcium, iron, etc., which prevent UV radiation from passing through and thus reduce the effectiveness of the device.

Pay attention to the lifetime of the UV lamp. The lifetime of the UV lamp is 9000 hours (more than 1 year). A built-in timer with an audio signal will notify you of the need to replace the lamp, which counts down the number of days of operation.  

Please remember to restart your UV source after replacing the UV lamp (see manual).

Never handle the UV lamp with bare hands, always use, for example, a dry paper towel. Handling with bare hands significantly reduces the lifetime of the lamp.

For connecting the UV lamp, we recommend using surge protection UV Protect S PO20 in the socket before the transformer. This will protect both the UV lamp and the transformer from surges caused, for example, by current spikes or storms.

Additional cost of 249 CZK for the packaging includes a reinforced package (a cardboard tube in which the UV lamp is wrapped in bubble wrap and the whole tube is additionally packed in a cardboard box reinforced with bubble wrap) to prevent damage to the glass tube of the UV lamp during transport.
