Disruptor™ Technology
Disruptor™ is a unique filtration technology that, similar to carbon filters, reduces chlorine, removes odors from water, and improves its taste. Additionally, it removes pathogens and other contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, cysts, parasites, endotoxins, pharmaceutical residues, and heavy metals (lead, iron, copper) from water.
However, it retains minerals in the water, so there is no need to mineralize the filtered water as is necessary with reverse osmosis. It does not remove nitrates or soluble salts from water and is not suitable for seawater filtration.
