The QUELL sediment filter cartridge is used as the first stage of filtration, as it removes impurities, deposits, sludge, rust, and particles larger than 5 microns, thereby extending the life of the second stage of filtration.
We recommend its use if the incoming water is more polluted, causing the first stage filter to clog more quickly.
