The lifetime of this UV bulb is 9000 hours (approximately one year). The indicator light and audible signal will alert you of the need to replace the UV bulb, but it is always better to change it in advance. It is recommended to check the condition of the quartz tube with each bulb replacement.

The quartz tube is changed only if it is damaged or due to the accumulation of dirt, calcium, iron, etc., which prevent the passage of UV radiation and thus reduce the effectiveness of the device.

Warning: Never handle the UV bulb with bare hands, always use a dry paper towel, for example. Handling with bare hands significantly reduces the lifespan of the bulb. Please remember to restart your UV source after replacing the UV bulb (see manual).

To connect the UV lamp, we recommend using surge protection UV Protect S PO20 in the socket before the transformer. This will protect both the UV bulb and the transformer from surges caused by current spikes or storms.

An additional charge of 249 CZK for the package includes a reinforced packaging (cardboard tube, in which the UV bulb is wrapped in bubble wrap, and the entire tube is additionally packaged in a cardboard box reinforced with bubble wrap) to eliminate damage to the glass tube of the UV bulb during transport.
