The lifespan of this UV lamp is 9000 hours (approximately one year). The indicator light and sound signal will of course alert you to the need to replace the UV lamp, but it is always advisable to change it in advance. It is recommended to check the condition of the quartz tube with each lamp replacement.

The quartz tube is only changed in case of damage or due to the buildup of dirt, calcium, iron, etc., which prevent the passage of UV radiation and thus reduce the effectiveness of the device.

Please remember to restart your UV source after replacing the UV lamp (see manual).

For connecting the UV lamp, we recommend using surge protection UV Protect S PO20 in the socket before the transformer. This will protect the UV lamp and the transformer from overvoltage caused by power surges or storms.

Additional charge of 249 CZK per package includes a reinforced packaging (cardboard tube in which the UV bulb is wrapped in bubble wrap, and the entire tube is further packed in a cardboard box reinforced with bubble wrap) to eliminate damage to the glass tube of the UV bulb during transport.
