Filter Cartridge The specially patented filter mixture SCALEX effectively acts on minerals that cause water hardness and contains no harmful substances such as phosphates and polyphosphates, which sets it apart from other similar products. The mixture is made from industrial ion-exchange resin treated with polymers and antibacterial agents. During filtration, very small amounts of substances are released into the water that prevent calcium and magnesium from forming limescale. The lifespan of the filter cartridge is 6 months or 20,000 liters of filtered water. After that, it is necessary to replace the filter cartridge with a replacement. You can also refill the filter with polyphosphate filter mixture. |
Installation of the Washing Machine Filter
The filter can be easily connected without tools to the hose that supplies water to the washing machine. The thread size of 3/4" is ideal for connecting to the faucet and the washing machine's hose.
