Practical AQUAPHOR Prestige Filtration Jug with a total capacity of 2.8 l represents a way to quickly obtain quality filtered water in the comfort of your home. It is easy to fill thanks to the sliding ribbed lid and is equipped with a mechanical filter replacement indicator, which counts liters and alerts you in time for the replacement of the filter cartridge. 

You can obtain filtered water by pouring tap water into the jug, where the water is filtered through the filter cartridge. Thanks to the filter cartridge AQUAPHOR A5 the resulting water will be free of mechanical impurities, chlorine, organic compounds, phenols, traces of heavy metals, and other substances that affect the quality, taste, and smell of water. Therefore, the water is subsequently cleaner, softer, and tastier.

The filter cartridge is made of granulated activated carbon from coconut shells, ion-exchange resins, and microfiber sorbent Aqualen.

AQUAPHOR A5 filter cartridges have an extraordinarily long lifespan. The lifespan of one filter cartridge is 350 liters. By using the filtration jug you save the environment and your finances by reducing the need to purchase bottled water in plastic bottles.

The AQUAPHOR Prestige filtration jug is compatible with the following filter cartridges:

• For normal tap water - Filter cartridge AQUAPHOR A5
• For hard water - Filter cartridge AQUAPHOR A5H (softening)
  This filter cartridge has the same properties as A5, but additionally, while filtering the water, it also softens it - reducing water hardness. This water is ideal for use in coffee makers, kettles, and anywhere there is a risk of limescale buildup.
• For enriching water with magnesium - Filter cartridge AQUAPHOR A5 Mg - This filter cartridge has the same properties as A5 but additionally contains magnesium Mg2+ and enriches the water with this health-promoting substance, providing up to 30% of the recommended daily intake. Magnesium contributes to energy production in the body and proper heart rhythm. Therefore, magnesium is important for our muscles and for the transmission of nerve impulses.

Replacing the filter is very simple and quick - just pull the existing filter cartridge out of the casing and insert a new one. The sealing conical rim ensures that water flows only through the filter cartridge.
